Joseph Giles - High performance washered bearing butt hinge, non fire-rated

The visible washers make the HG1043 a slightly more economical option than some other Joseph Giles hinges.

High performance, stainless steel, maintenance-free butt hinge. Guaranteed for 25 years and tested on a maximum adjusted door weight of 80kg this hinge complies with BS EN1935 Grade 11.

The PSS and SSS finishes can be used externally as the base material is stainless steel (CE Certificate No. 1121-CPR-C0031). The base material of the other finishes is mild steel substrate (CE Certificate No. 1121-CPR-C0023), it is not advisable to fit these hinges on external doors or areas with high humidity.

Hinges are supplied as a single item with 4 x 32mm pozi wood screws.

The minimum recommended door thickness is 35mm.
